LONELYHEARTS

M. LeBlanc is proud to present two nights of curated video programming addressing longing, otherness, transgression, excess, and human connection. Featuring works made from 1970 until 2025, each evening presents a select grouping of video and film seldom seen in Chicago.

Artists include Dara Birnbaum, Slater Bradley, Petra Cortright, Valie Export, Isa Genzken, Andy Hope 1930, Martin Kippenberger, Maria Lassnig, Mark Leckey, Paul McCarthy, Isabelle Frances McGuire, Steve Reinke, Bunny Rogers, JPW3 & Chris Coy, and Heimo Zobernig.

These screenings would not be possible without help from numerous artists, their studios, galleries, and foundations. Our immense gratitude for their continued support.

Curated and organized by Taylor Payton.

Special thanks to Galerie Buchholz, Gladstone Gallery, the Maria Lassnig Foundation and Sixpack Films Vienna, Petzel Gallery, Societé Berlin, Galerie Xavier Hufkens, and the Video Data Bank.
